<p>Intr-un segment de piata dominat de  grupul VAG prin motorul sau 2,0TFSI indiferent ca este montat pe o  Cupra un GTI sau un S3 mai exista si alegeri alternative. </p>
<p>Alegere alternativa nu inseamna automat  &lsquo;the best from the rest&rsquo;, cat poate o dorinta de a nu te conforma  trendului sau o afinitate mai mare catre un alt brand.</p>
<p>Ei bine care a fost motivatia lui  Florin cand a ales Fordul Focus ST nu stim si nici nu tinem neaparat  sa aflam, deoarece pentru noi a fost mult mai interesant sa vedem  dezvoltarea acestui proiect, lucru care nu s-a intamplat peste noapte  ci in etape ce s-au intins pe parcursul unor luni bune.</p>
<p>Inceputul a fost clasic ca pentru orice  masina turbo, evacuare turboback Milltek si kit intercooler Forge.</p>
<p>Dupa cateva luni, cand deja a  intervenit binecunoscuta rutina in orice relatie om-masina, perioada  in care ajungi sa realizezi punctele forte, dar si pe cele slabe ale  partenerei, a venit momentul unor noi picanterii de natura sa  revitalizeze senzatiile in cadrul cuplului mai sus mentionat.</p>
<p>Drept urmare au fost integrate o  admisie CAI Puma Speed, un set de amortizoare Bilstein B6, un blocant  Quaife, discuri de frana fata-spate cu clopot din ergal Omni  Competition impreuna cu placute de frana Omni Competition si  furtunase de frana cu camasa metalica Goodridge.</p>
<p>Rezultatul dupa acest set de upgradeuri  a fost o masina foarte bine echilibrata din toate punctele de vedere  insa careia parca ii lipsea ceva, un factor X greu de definit dar pe  care totusi nu il poti ignora . </p>
<p>Si astfel au mai trecut cateva luni  bune in care Florin a incercat sa identifice acel factor X, iar cand  a reusit acesta s-a numit Dream Science Stage 4. </p>
<p>Combinand piesele deja existente cu  turbina AET K6 hibrid, injectoarele de 440 cc, oilcoolerul de Focus  RS Mk2 si o resoftare specifica pentru noua configuratie, oferita tot  de catre Dream Science, rezultatul a facut sa merite asteptarea.</p>
<p>Daca nu ne credeti…….il puteti  intreba pe Florin.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>De cele mai multe ori in domeniul auto  exclusivitatea are un pret pe masura.</p>
<p>Ei bine,  exista totusi si exceptii,  una dintre ele fiind acest Subaru. </p>
<p>Desi si-a inceput existenta ca un  Subaru Forester perfect normal  proprietarul a ales sa il transforme  in ceva unic cel putin in Europa si anume un Subaru Forester STI  (excludem exemplarele originale JDM deoarece au volanul pe partea  gresita).</p>
<p>Astfel, cu rabdare  si bun gust a  inceput  incet,  incet sa il modeleze cat mai aproape de imaginea  unei masini  de care mai mult ca sigur si producatorul ar fi mandru  sa poarte particula STI.</p>
<p>Dupa ce s-a terminat bricolarea  exteriorului si al interiorului mai ramanea  un singur lucru de facut  si anume transplantul unei inimi veritabile de STI.</p>
<p>In pofida verdictelor negative legate  de functionalitatea ulterioara a masinii dupa acest transplant  proprietarul nu a renuntat la idee si astfel acest proiect ne-a fost  incredintat.</p>
<p>Motorul ales pentru a fi montat a fost  evident un EJ25 de Impreza  STI caruia proprietarul i-a schimbat  pistoanele cu unele Cosworth din motive de lipsa de fiabilitate a  configuratiei originale.</p>
<p>Si de aceasta data pentru subtilitatile  de ordin electronic cat si pentru implementarea unui soft custom  menit sa imbunatateasca performantele dinamice ale masinii am apelat  la bunul nostru prieten  si colaborator  Okan Zamanoglu (ZOD  Development).</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Continuand initiativa de a oferi produse premium specifice atat clientilor cat si dealerilor sai Exelixis Motosport are placerea sa va prezinte inca o premiera pe piata autohtona si anume uleiul dedicat pentru rodaj AMS Break-In Oil.</p>
<p>Pregatirea unui motor de la zero cere atentie la detaliu inca din fazele incipiente montajului si pana in faza finala a rodajului.</p>
<p>Astfel pe langa folosirea unor component bune calitativ este importanta si folosirea unor lubrefianti de foarte buna calitate. Pentru a acoperi aceasta necesitate va punem la dispozitie solutia Torco Engine Assembly Lube impreuna cu vaselinele AMS Oil Series 2000 Racing Grease si AMS Oil Heavy-Duty Synthetic Polymer.</p>
<p>Acestea, folosite impreuna cu uleiul specific de rodaj AMS Break-In Oil vor asigura un montaj si rodaj lipsit de surprize neplacute pentru orice motor proaspat refacut.</p>

<p>Anterior vizitei facute noua masina a  suferit modificari intensive de ordin mecanic dar fara a apela la un  stroker kit, cilindreea ramanand tot 2,5L  iar turbina aleasa a fost  un MD555 Turbo Dynamics. </p>
<p>Odata incheiat upgradeul partilor  mecanice urma resoftarea iar aici dorinta expresa a proprietarului a  fost sa nu se foloseasca o electronica de tip standalone in  defavoarea calculatorului de fabrica al masinii.</p>
<p>Deoarece firma ce s-a ocupat de partea  mecanica a proiectului nu a fost in stare sa satisfaca aceasta  cerere, proprietarul ne-a contactat urmand ca Exelixis Motorsport sa  se ocupe de resoftare.</p>
<p>Constienti de limitarile dar si  avantajele sistemului  standard  de gestiune al motorului  am decis  ca cea mai buna solutie pentru resoftare o reprezinta Okan Zamanoglu  cu care am mai colaborat si de a carui expertiza, in mod special   cand vine vorba de Subaru, nu ne indoim.</p>
<p>Astfel dupa o sedinta dyno intensiva au  aparut rezultatele si nu orice fel de rezultate, ci unele ce exceptie  dupa cum se pot vedea si in graficul dyno de mai jos.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In contextul tehnologic actual in care  cutiile  mecanice automatizate cu schimb in flux de putere castiga  tot mai mult teren in segmentul masinilor sport,  servisarea si  upgradarea lor reprezinta  o necesitate si implicit o noua provocare  atat pentru producatorii de piese de upgrade cat si pentru firmele de  tuning ale caror proiecte se bazeaza pe masini echipate cu astfel de  cutii.</p>
<p>Profitand de experienta deja acumulata  in cazul cutiilor de Nissan GTR R35 am decis sa mergem mai departe,  noul pacient numindu-se Mitsubishi EVO X echipat cu cutia SST cu  ambreiaj dublu.</p>
<p>Desi principiile sunt similare cu cele  intalnite in cazul GTR-ului atentia la detalii  atat in timpul  demontarii cat si al montajului sunt cruciale deoarece fiecare  producator si implicit  fiecare produs au particularitatile lor.</p>
<p>Ca o particularitate nu tocmai  pozitiva, accesul in vederea interventiei asupra transmisiei in cazul  acestui autovehicul presupune demontarea puntii fata urmata de  extragerea grupului propulsor impreuna cu cutia de viteze.</p>
<p>In cazul de fata interventia a fost  necesara pentru acomodarea unui kit de ambreiaje SSP 600HP SST in  locul celor stock ce au inceput  sa dea semne de oboseala in urma  upgrade-ului puterii motorului combinat cu o utilizare intensiv  sportiva.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Noua  ne plac GTR-urile si ele ne iubesc la randul lor, cam asa ar putea fi  descris cel mai nou proiect Exelixis ce evident are cu subiect un nou  Nissan GTR R35.</p>
<p>Acest nou proiect este unul aproape la fel de  elaborat si de complex ca cel sustinut cu GTR-ul nostru de casa, insa  de aceasta data am optat pentru o solutie deja existenta si testata,  anume kitul Alpha 12 oferit de catre AMS Performance.</p>
<p>Din  start trebuie mentionat ca aceasta masina s-a dorit a fi una  bivalenta, capabila sa ofere performanta pe pista de drag, dar si  suficient de &lsquo;civilizata&rsquo; pentru a fi utilizata zi de zi in  scopuri &lsquo;domestice&rsquo;.</p>
<p>Astfel,  toate piesele necesare upgradeului motorului, internele cat si  elementele aditionale acestuia( turbine, downpipeuri, tubulatura de  admisie , intercoolere, injectoare, pompe de benzina, rampe de  injectie, etc) au fost cele furnizate de catre AMS Performance iar  sistemul de distributie a scanteii a fost ajutat cu un set de bobine  Okada.</p>
<p>Pentru  un mai  bun management al temperaturii in compartimentul motor atat  galeria de admisie cat si galeriile de evacuare impreuna cu  downpipeurile au fost acoperite ceramic de catre Zircotec.</p>
<p>Sistemul  de evacuare catback ales a fost un GTC Titan din titan cu diametrul  de 90mm.</p>
<p>Aditional  pentru gestiunea eficienta a puterii fara a distruge cutia de viteze,  au fost inlocuite piesele cele mai expuse deteriorarii cu upgradeuri  oferite de catre Dodson Motorsport si a fost montat un kit de  ambreiaj Pro Max. Pentru a preveni supraincalzirea transmisiei a fost  utilizat un kit oilcooler ForgeMotorsport.</p>
<p>Si  cum acceleratiile puternice necesita si decelerari eficiente sistemul  de franare a fost si el imbunatatit cu furtune de frana metalice  HoseTechnik, discuri AP Racing si placute Ferodo DS2500.</p>
<p>La  dorinta expresa a clientului softwareul pentru gestiunea motorului a  fost furnizata remote de catre AMS Performance.</p>
<p>Acest  proiect a dovedit inca odata ca performanta extrema si fiabilitatea  pot merge mana in mana atat pe pista de drag cat si in utilizarea  cotidiana si desi poate unii nu ar crede suntem de parere ca limita  poate fi impinsa si mai departe iar aceasta masina va mai genera  surprize si in perioada ce urmeaza.</p>

<p>Proiectul a inceput avand la baza un  Nissan Sunny din 1992 cu motor de 1,6L si transmisie 4&#215;4 caruia I s-a  transplantat un motor SR20DET de 2,0L. Urmand o &lsquo;dieta&rsquo; drastica  si o cura de &lsquo;steroizi&rsquo; intensiva rezultatul a fost o greutate de  915kg , o putere de 1060cp la motor cu un cuplu de 950nm.</p>

<p><strong>Admisia </strong>este  una custom pe care s-a montat o clapeta de acceleratie cu diametrul  de 90mm . Racirea aerului este asigurata de un intercooler aer-aer  custom , restul tevilor fiind vopsite electrostatic iar ca solutie de  BOV s-a optat pentru Tial</p>
<p><strong>Evacuarea </strong>este  compusa dintr-o galerie custom acoperita ceramic de catre Zircotec,   pe care se regaseste un wastegate extern Tial de 44m si un downpipe  de 90mm cu iesire laterala</p>
<p><strong>Alimentarea </strong>se  face dintr-un rezervor de competitive  RCI prin intermediul a doua  pompe Bosch 044, urmate de un regulator Sard si injectoare Siemens de  1600cc.</p>
<p><strong>Transmisia </strong>foloseste un ambreiaj triplu disc AP Racing montat pe o cutie de  viteze cu carcasa custom din inox cu interne crabotate PPG.  Diferentialele atat fata cat si spate sunt Cuzco.</p>
<p><strong>Gestiunea  electronic a motorului </strong>este asigurata de un sistem standalone  Haltech Pro 2000 utilizat in tandem cu un bord de curse RacePack si  ceasuri aditionale de monitorizare Daemon.</p>
<p><strong>Aderenta </strong>la  sol se face prin intermediul unor jante de aluminiu Lenzo de 13&rdquo;  echipate cu slickuri de       drag Hoosier</p>
<p>In cele ce urmeaza vom enumera  modificarile si upgradeurile folosite in realizarea acestui cocktail  exploziv denumit <strong>Exelixis Nissan Sunny</strong>. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Ultima etapa organizata in 2011 de DRE  a reprezentat inca o premiera prezentata publicului de catre echipa  Exelixis Motorsport.</p>
<p>Astfel am avut placerea de a efectua  primele run-uri in conditii reale de cursa cu proiectul Nissan GTR  R35 echipat cu kitul AMS Performance ALPHA 12.</p>
<p>Acest proiect reprezinta rezultatul  colaborarii extrem de apropiate pe durata a 6 luni intre AMS  Performance si Exelixis Motorsport in vederea finalizarii acestui  proiect ce are la baza kitul ALPHA 12 dar care a fost inzestrat si cu  cateva extra-uri courtesy of Exelixis Motorsport.</p>
<p>Targetul acestui proiect pentru acest  an a fost participarea la ultima etapa din campionatul DRE si  testarea sa in conditii reale de cursa  dar intr-o configuratie completa de strada cu benzina de pompa  si un soft low boost. Scopul acestui test a fost verificarea fiabilitatii intr-o configuratie   similara cu cea in care masina va evolua zi de zi pana in primavara  cand va participa la potential maxim in cadrul campionatului DRE  2012. </p>
<p>Dupa cum anticipam rezultatul a fost  unul extrem de promitator anuntand clar o candidatura serioasa pentru  titlul de cea mai rapida masina la clasa street si un foarte probabil  record al Romaniei la aceeasi clasa. </p>
<p>Acestea sunt insa planurile pentru  2012, momentan ne declaram &lsquo;in carti&rsquo; si plini de incredere in  urma timpului de 10,08 sec obtinut in conditiile mentionate mai sus  si va asteptam din nou in primavara.</p>
